life goes on

I haven't had much to say lately.  I have had much to do.  I've even been having a difficult time finding time to read favorite blogs, let alone blog myself. Please excuse me.

I recieved and interesting quote today:
If the Muslims put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.

It would be a great thing if Muslims would convert to the authentic and real religion of peace.  I do not believe the Islam  is a religion of peace.  In there unholy book, there peace is when all infidels are dead. Allah is not God and the faiths are not equal. I am sure that there are peaceful muslims out there but very few of them have spoken against the acts of terrorism inflicted against America and the rest of the  world. Pardon my lack of political correctness.  There is an enemy out to kill us.

Stuff in general:
We are getting ready for a huge yardsale in Glencoe with other family members.  I don't do yard sales that often.  I want to have a big one and purge as much stuff from my life as possible in one day.  Katie will be setting up a lemonade stand to boot.  Jerry's going to be there with a ton of computer equipment. Lots of stuff and I look forward to hanging out with family and friends.

The highlight of the month was getting to play with my brother Brook Finlayson and my dear old friend Michael Bynum as The Guise for Vineyard Gadsden's Celebration Sunday. I had been looking forward to it so much and it passed by too quick.  I miss playing with them.

I have discovered a new show that I really like on HNN. I am actually suprized that Ted Turner would allow a guy like Glenn Beck on one of his cable networks.  I don't  agree with Glenn 100% but I like how this guy thinks.

There's really not that much on TV that I care to watch these days.  I listen to the radio as much as I can.  I am thinking about getting an ipod to download Rush Limbaugh.  I miss hearing him and average about 20 minutes a day of his show.  I'd like to download his show and listen to it while folding sheets, driving around town on errands etc.  I don't know what they cost but chances are it's out of my current price range.  We'll see.

God bless you guys.

After reading your blog, it reminded me of a very enlightening web site that I visited last week.  It's a sight where you can download Christian witness tracts.  This one helps us to understand the back bone of Islam and it's teachings.  It's a pretty cool site.  Check it out.
