The Guise Michael Bynum, Brook & David
Finlayson
Richard Moon asked if The Guise could lead worship for Celebration Sunday at Vineyard
Gadsden September 24th (tentative date). Michael hasn't answered the call as of yet but I hope that he can. Vineyard's
Celebrationj Sunday consists of an hour of worship followed by a mega pot luck.
Celtic Worship @ Gadsden Vineyard
Earth To Heaven
Debbie Handy, Liz Finlayson, LeNola
Bagley, and Wayne Wimpee will be joining me a few times in February for worship with a Celtic feel. .
Check the homepage for times. The service Sunday 2/12 went great and looking forward to Thursday night on the 23rd.
Liz won't be joining us for that date though. Hopefully everyone will be coming back together in March for The
Gathering at Vineyard.

"These two recent Guise gigs have been very special for me. It's not just nostalgia (although there
has always been something special about the three of us together), but I feel a unique annointing for liberty and expression
in worship. I'm up for these as long as God favors them."

Regarding 08/28/05
"You don't know what Saturday night meant to me. I was
tired, it had been a long day and I still had a lot to do that night in preparation for the Sunday morning service. But when
we started practice and that "Pink Floyd" improv song started......I don't know how to explain it. For the first time in a
long time I felt at home. Now, I know I am not a good bass player, but am adequate. But something happened when the four of
us started playing. It just felt right. So thanks for the invite and the opportunity to play with you and Brook. By the way,
I have made CD's from Saturday night and I think you may be surprised by them. The quality is great, the mix is great (who
needs a sound man.....just roll the tape).
I will put them in Brook's mail box Wednesday night so
you can pick up your copy if you're downtown. I don't know about the two of you, but I am willing to see where this leads.
What we did Saturday night was so fresh and alive for me. I have listened to the CD constantly."
I love you guys.....

Regarding 07/03/05
Hey what's cooking at the Kelley's
I dropped by Nori and Barbie Kelley's
house a little while ago to give them each a hug. They returned from their 20 month church building / recording venture in
Japan less than a month ago and now they've sold their house and bought one in Colorado! AHHHH! I love them dearly
and they will be missed. Gina and I drove over to THE GATHERING August 19 and heard them play a farewell concert. Bookmark
their page http://www.angelfire.com/biz/windsite/ . You can find their music at CDbaby.com.
The Gathering
Horse
Pen's 40
April 16, 2005
6:00 p.m.
Last Saturday was really wonderful time. I had never been to Horse Pen's
40 before. My old friend Jerry Connell drove down with me. We were met at the door by my old jamming buddy from Christian
Brother's days, Michael Baggett. He gave us the tour of the place and it was just great getting to talk with him again.
I finally got to meet Jeramy Lesley of The Blaze (www.the-blaze.com). We had been going back and forth via Email for the past two or three months and it was nice to finally see his face and
shake his hand. THE GATHERING was a worship begining to end and I hope they gather again. I hope that those that couldn't
make the trip with me last time will not miss out next time.
The Guise Ride Again
I just got an email from Michael Bynum asking me if I'd mind worship
at House of Blues with The Guise on the 26th of January. The Guise is the name
of the band Michael, my brother Brook and myself called ourselves back in the late eighties and early nineties. We were
pretty much the house band for the old Christian Brothers Coffeehouse (aka Skylight). We did venture out on occasion
to play for churches and other small gatherings. It's been ages since we've played as The Guise and
never as a worship team. I am anticipating the fellowship and time of worship. LeNola Bagley will be joining us on bass
and Wayne Wimpee will be on percussion. House of Blue is held every last Wednesday of each month at
the Gadsden Vineyard www.gadsdenvineyard.com.
